Unknown Soldier

unspoken words, written in poems

no face, no name, identity unknown

you ask the moon, why is no one listening?

the moon replied, have you tried talking?

you wanted to talk to someone

to let all the anger and pain be gone

but no one...

no one is there beside you tonight

you feel alone in this never-ending fight

wanted to drop the sword and surrender

but what would that do to you, unknown soldier

left behind on the battlefield, dying

wounded and crying but no one is helping

you pick up your sword and crawl to safety

heal your wounds, in the battle break free

then, when you're home at last

cry... every pain you hold in that heart

don't let them see your tears, soldier

even without them, you're a survivor
